Juvenile hyalin fibromatosis is a rare autosomal recessive hereditary disease. Clinically, It consists of multiple cutaneous papules, nodules or tumoral masses which are found head , neck and extremities. Our five years old male patient referred to the clinic with multiple cutaneus masses in the parietal, auricular and submandibular region. In addition to the multiple cutaneus tumours, flexion contractures of the knee and elbow joints were also detected on physical examination. After excisional biopsy, grey-white tumoral masses that were encapsulated, varying from 1mm to 3cm diameter were seen . On microscopic examination the poorly circumscribed lesion that consisted of cords of spindle-shaped cells embedded in a homogeneous eosinophilic matrix was seen. In some areas of the lesion, the spindle shaped cells seemed to locate in lacuna like spaces because of the large amounts of hyalinized collagen-like material. On histochemical examination, the hyaline matrix stained (+) with PAS and Alcian Blue and did not stain with congo red and toluidine blue. With these clinical and pathological findings, the case was diagnosed as JHF and is discussed in the light of the literature.
