Ossifying fibromyxoid tumor is a fibroosseous soft tissue neoplasm which was first described in 1989. Although there is no agreement on the exact histogenesis of this lesion, immunhistochemical and electron microscopic studies suggest that it may be of Schwann cell origin. The cilinical behaviour of this tumor is benign. It is often located in the subcutaneous tissues and extremities. This tomur, mostly seen in men, almost always occurs in adult age.
We report here an unusual case of ossifying fibromyxoid tumor which was excised from the back of a 60 year old man.
