A case of primary ovarian serous papillary adenocarcinoma metastatic to the gall bladder. In this report ve present a case of ovarian serous papillary adenocarcinoma metastatic to the gallblader which was not reported in the literature previously. Our case has been operated for bilateral ovarian serous papillary adenocarcinoma three years ago. Materials obtained from TAH+BSO+bilateral pelvic and paraaortic lymph node dissection + tumor excision from falciform ligament + biopsy from the tumor over the intestine had been examined in the Pathology Department of Hacettepe University. Cholecystectomy had been performed for the patient who had clinical findings compatible with acute cholecysitis. Peritoneal carcinomatosis and multiple metastatic masses in the liver were seen during the operation but biopsy was not obtained. In macroscopic examination thickness of the gall bladder wall was minimally increased and microscopic examination has revealed metastatic serous papillary adenocarcinoma in the serosa and muscular layers rare. Most of the reported cases are metastasis of malignant melanoma. There are also a few case reports of the renal cell carcinoma, breast carcinoma, esophagus carcinoma and lung carcinoma metastasis.
