Granular cell tumor of the ovary Granular cell tumor is rare neoplasm thought to arise in neural tissue resembling Schwann cells. This tumor was first described by Abrikossoff in 1926. Since that time there have been approximately 1000 cases reported. Here we report granular cell tumor of the ovary that was found incidentally.
