A 47-year-old-woman with complaint ofvaginal bleeding for a month was diagnosed as simple endometrial hyperplasia on curettage specimen. Adenomatoid tumor was incidentally detected at fimbrial end of the left fallopian tube on total abdominal hysterectomy and bilateral salpingooopherectomy material.
Since adenomatoid tumor is a relatively rarely seen entity and occasionally it can be misdiagnosed as a tumor with vessel origin or an epithelial tumor , the case has been thought to deserve to be presented. We have also commented on the histogenesis of the adenomatoid tumor in the light of the literature.
