Summary
Craniopharyngiomas are benign, cystic epithelial tumors of the sellar region. They are of two types being adamantinomatous and papillary. Papillary craniopharyngiomas are rare type found in adults which comprise the 20% of craniopharyngiomas. In our case, the patient is 45 years old male with a cystic lesion localized in the suprasellar region. In this article, the clinical, pathological and radiological findings in papillary craniopharyngiomas, with their differentiating features from other cystic lesions and tumors of the region are discussed.
