Summary
Being a scientist who had left Hitler’s Germany, Schwartz worked as the Director of the Institute of Pathological Anatomy at the Medical Faculty of Istanbul University between the years 1933-1953. When he started office, he presented to the Dean of Medical Faculty a report pertaining the changes he wanted to realize in the education of pathological anatomy. This article introduces this report and other contributions and services of Schwartz in the branch of pathological anatomy.
